Conference participants will have access to Tufts’ wireless network in all conference rooms and on-campus accommodations. However, you must pre-register your computer. Before you come to Medford, please visit https://student.support.tufts.edu/connecting-conferences.php and fill out the form, selecting Second World Humanitarian Conference from the list. Your computer will be registered by our IT group and you’ll have wireless access as soon as you arrive.

Not a member? Join us! IHSA now has a membership fee for full members of $25 for two years. Full members have voting rights for the officers, and get a $25 discount for the conference.

Call for Panels and Registration Open

CALL FOR PANELS
We are seeking proposals to lead panel discussions at the Second World Conference on Humanitarian Studies. Panels must be focused on one of the four conference themes:

Emerging from protracted crises
New Directions in Policy
Innovations in Humanitarian Practice
Advances in Public Health and Food Security in Crises

We encourage panels that reflect the interactive nature of the conference and are jointly organized by two people or institutions that represent different academic disciplines or a combination of academic and implementing agencies. We also encourage collaborations between institutes from different geographic regions.

Please submit your panel proposal through our website. Proposals will be accepted until December 1.

REGISTRATION
Register now for WCHS 2011! The conference fee is $275 for registrations received by March 1; after March 1, the fee rises to $350. Click here to register. (Please note: so that we can keep the conference fee low for all attendees, we cannot offer student or group discounts.)
